Launch of Cloud Smart School EdTech at all Classrooms
Virtual classrooms as well as examinations were all conducted to students at St. Anthony’s College successfully. Students who attended College physically in classrooms learned using all state of the art facilities installed in the College while the students learning from home participated remotely via the Online system.
We are thankful to the Rev. Fr. Principal the Teachers of St. Anthony’s College, the Old Boy’s Association of St. Anthony’s College as well as the Cloud Smart School team for making this project a reality.
Standing in the middle is Rev. Fr. Principal Henry B. Wijerathne and towards his left Mrs. Renuka Wijerathne – Deputy Principal Administration, towards his right Dr. Dhammika Elkaduwa the General Secretary of the Old Boy’s Association of St. Anthony’s College Kandy who played an enormous role in the process who is a Senior Lecturer of the University of Peradeniya Faculty of Engineering Department of Computer Engineering, and also the Head of School of Computing and IT at the Sri Lanka Technological Campus (SLTC).
Sanitization, Washing Hands and Health safety during the Pandemic
With the Assistance of the generous Old Boys of the College the Principal managed to install sufficient Sinks for students to wash their hands at the gate when entering the College premises.
The Global Antonian Network’, SACKOBA Soudi Branch and Group 89 three prominent branches under the Old Boy’s Association of St. Anthony’s College Kandy, was seen prominent in donating uniquely beautiful sinks designed specifically for the College.
Transporting the students safely for Matches & other engagements to venues outside College
St. Anthony’s College Kandy is one of the few Schools probably in the entire Subcontinent which has a vast area of land with all required facilities inside the School premises. Thus the students does not require to travel outside College for sports practices etc,…

- Multi storied Indore Sports Complex with indoor Badminton Courts, Table Tennis Courts, Gymnastic Gymnasium, Dining Halls and Dormitory with accommodation facilities even for visiting sports teams.

- National level Swimming Pool which hosts the Annual Provincial Swimming tournaments.
- Three storied scouting Den with a separate grounds for the scouts.

Such a facilitated Institution takes utmost care of the students when transporting them outside College during this COVID19 Pandemic period through it’s own fleet of School Busses and vans.
Even the Principal of the College has a separate Official car for traveling provided by the College Vehicle fleet.
The Students should be highly fortunate to study in a highly facilitated Institution such as this.
