Social media is one of the basic essences in current society. We simply can get a full analysis of most people by just checking their social media accounts. But today’s kids’ story is different. The first thing that they search for is their smartphone. For most people, it has become a distraction. We stick our eyes 24/7 on a phone screen. How many of you enjoy the creamy and steaming cup of coffee with your friend or loved one while having wonderful mind relaxing chats without touching your mobile phone? It can be less than the number of fingers in your hand. You may have never thought about it but this is a common mistake that you, me, and we all do.

This can be the worst-case scenario especially during the time that you are studying for your exams. And we have noticed that many students just uninstall the social media applications when the exams are closed by. So what are the reasons to do this? There can be several answers to this question…

It is harder even to think about it, isn’t it? So how can a student concentrate on studying when your phone keeps beeping on?

Then this stress level will skyrocket for sure and eventually will lead them into depression.

Moreover, studies have found that many people are using social media just to avoid the fear of missing out. And this means that people get nervous when major events are happening without them. This eventually makes them stay online 24/7. This will drastically impact a student who studying for a final examination. Then they can avoid notifications about live events that are happening over there.

Furthermore, the students who are having relationships tend to avoid social media as well. Naturally, they tempt to text or call their partners. Teen love is simply with sparks and rainbows and we all know that. And they find it quite difficult to balance both sides. So most of the time, studies are getting neglected. And especially during an exam, parents hardly permit outings and this eventually pushes them to have their love life through social media. And this way they get distracted again.

Some students can manage their studies, social media as well as their personal life in a balanced manner. But some find it very difficult.
