We all love to do things in easy ways and quick ways. Earlier it took nearly half of the day to do a single transaction. But today we can transfer cash over the phone. Simply we do things in smart ways. And why not using smart ways to study?

There is a clear cut difference between working smart and working hard. The real genius would do the task using a clever way. But the person who lives inside the box will always follow the most common way. And this common way will be the hardest way that exists.

This depends on the personality as well. If a person has an extroversive personality and a creative mind then they will choose smarter ways. But if a person has an executive personality, then they are comfortable with following the given and ordinary way.

Same applies when it comes to studying. But why choosing hard ways when you have plenty of smart ways to study?

So in this article, I am going to give you some tips to study smarter…

Reading and studying are two different things

First of all, you should understand this concept. Many students think that reading means studying. Let me put it in this way… You do read novels and newspapers, right? Does that mean that you are studying the newspaper or the novel? But reading is important to identify what to study. But do not think that just because you read piles of textbooks you can nail your exam.

Go green

Many types of research show that green colour supports well for human concentration. In general, when we are exhausted we look into a greenish environment and it soothes our mind and eyes. So be smart. Use green highlighters to highlight key facts and use green sticky notes and flashcards to write down your short notes and facts.

Testing is important

You may have studied a lot. But you need to evaluate yourself and see whether you have studied effectively. And that is why tests are important. Before the big examination, you can try out some model questions and quizzes to evaluate your performance level.

Multi-tasking is not a good idea.

You can be a superhero who can do two-three things at once. But not while studying smarty pants… You need to give your 100% focus on what you are studying when you are studying. You can’t check the Instagram posts and tweet with your friends while studying. Those ways you will just kill off your efficiency.

Have a blend of chunks

This is another smart way to study. You never should take everything at once. Never study a big piece of the lesson within a shorter period. And do not stick with the same subject. Choose different parts from different subjects and start working from the beginning.

Images are more effective

Usually, we remember logos more than wordings. Sometimes we know the logo https://inkbotdesign.com/100-famous-logos/ but not the name of the product. And in general, it’s the logo that comes to our mind first when someone says the name of a product. So use this method when studying. Try to use pictures as much as possible.

Always use examples

What is easier to remember? That food tastes different due to acids or lime taste sour because of citrus acid? You will go for the second answer. Why struggling to remember all these heavy scientific words are concepts when there are plenty of easy practical examples are out there? This is another smart method that you can use when studying.
