MBBS or Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery is the first two medical degrees that are awarded by the Universities in different countries that follow the United Kingdom medical tradition. The countries that follow the United States medical system are called this Doctor of Medicine (MD). The names and the abbreviation of these programs differ according to the institutions, country, and many more aspects. However, all are equally recognized.
